IEEE Spectrum: Online Labs Give Remote-Learners Hands-On Experience

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concept of a remote lab was troublesome for both students and educators because of the limitations it held. The remote lab would provide simulations for students to work with which was definitely not as efficient as working with actual hardware and software. But universities have evolved their way of functioning with labs, either by having their own remote labs or by partnering with LabsLand, a startup that provides access to students to learn how to work with different electronic boards. Learn more about how this is achieved in the article published in IEEE Spectrum!
