Brian Chap

I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering Ph.D. student focusing on harnessing computer vision for integrated imaging and sensing technologies, particularly in relation to improving long-distance visualization and adaptable image processing. I obtained my Bachelor in Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in June 2022, where I was affiliated with the Visual Machines Group and Device Research Lab. My research aims to ensure equitable access to all communities and has been previously supported by the NSF and ARO.

When I’m not working in the lab, you will find me exploring, whether it be Olympic NP and Victoria by ferry in summer or Vancouver and Whistler in winter.
