Khang Do (Ken) was accepted into the University of Washington as an Engineering Dean’s Scholar. He is a second-year undergraduate student in Electrical & Computer Engineering. Ken is interested in providing equitable resources to engineering students from underrepresented communities. He is also passionate about building a community with people from different cultures and learning how engineers from diverse backgrounds approach and solve challenges. His passion is reflected in his previous work as a STEM Academic Success Coach and an Engineering Peer Educator here at the University of Washington. In his free time, Ken likes to hang out with his peers, meditate in his room, or learn something new.
